Aedan just sent out his yearly Christmas Cards, look for them in the mail. We love all of you!

We took Aedan down to Clear Lake over the weekend to meet his cousin Yvette, while he was there he also met cousin Danyne and saw Cameron and Shalimar.  He was held by lots of loving family.  We’re all looking forward to coming down and visiting again!

My nephew’s birthday is Today and the big party is this Saturday at Chuck-E-Cheese!  It’s Aedan’s first birthday party and hopefully the grandparents will join us as well. YAY.

Grandpa Ray and Grandma Mary are on their way today and land at Houston Intercontinental Airport this evening at 7:40pm.  It will be the first time they’ve met Aedan or been to Houston since I’ve worked at CGX.  We’re so excited!

Christina is up and feeling quite a bit better at this point, I am working from home watching Aedan who has been a charm this morning.  Thanks to Fahad and Sylvia for all their help (for over 12 hours yesterday), we couldn’t have done it without you!

Three days ago (Tuesday) Christina went to the ER and an ultrasound had reveled that she had gall bladder disease.  We scheduled a consultation appointment with Katy Memorial Surgical Specialists for Monday, but we didn’t make it that far.  A few moments after I was done with my procedure on Friday, the pain Christina had experienced earlier this week started coming back, so much so that I made the initial call to Fahad and Sylvia (Aedan’s godparents) asking them to start heading this direction.  When they arrived they helped me get Christina in the car, I started calling Katy Surgical Specialists and found that Dr. Wheeler was the on-call doctor, he called me back and asked us to go to Christus St. Catherine hospital.  Once we got there Christina was triaged, given some pain medication, ultrasounded, seen by two doctors, and taken for emergency surgery to remove her gall bladder.  During the surgery it was determined that Christina’s appendix was in the wrong place, that was removed as well as her gall bladder and a stone that was blocking one of the ducts which was the cause of the majority of the pain.

Christina is back home, she is doing better, still in quite a bit of pain however.  Fahad and Sylvia are helping out so very much and we really appreciate it more than we can even put into words.  Thanks everyone for your words of support and encouragement!
